Receptionist

I have worked in the dental field since 1968 and have been with Dr. Schapley since 2006 as our office’s receptionist. I love meeting new people and being a part of a team that changes people’s lives for the better through good dental health. We provide innovative technology and individualized attention to each patient.

My husband, Rocky, and I have a son, Lee, and a daughter-in-law, Karen, as well as two Yorkshire terriers named Lucy and Ethel. In my free time I am a hospice volunteer and I enjoy quilting and reading.

Business Manager

I’m excited that my job as business manager is to help every patient get the dentistry they want and need.  By helping to maximize benefits and coordinate financial arrangements, patients come in worried and leave with a smile.  I’ve been in the dental field since 2000 and am delighted to have joined Dr  Schapley and his amazing team here in North Port, a place I’ve called home since 1988.

On a personal note, I love sunrise walks on the beach and especially enjoy them with my husband who was also my high school sweetheart, Doug.  We have a son Trey, a daughter Jamie, and son-in-law, Rory.  Doug and I enjoy the outdoors, gardening, biking, boating, and raising our egg-laying hens.  I have a passion for photography and you might see some of my prints when you come into the office for your next visit!!

Dental Assistant

I started my dental career in 1982 in New Jersey. When I moved to Florida in 1988, I continued my career and have been at Dr. Schapley’s office since 2006. I assist Dr. Schapley with all phases of chairside procedures from the simplest of fillings to the most complex of implants. I love seeing the difference we can make in people's lives. We can change how our patients feel about themselves just by giving them back a beautiful smile.

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Bruce, since 1989. We have a beautiful daughter, Sharon, and a spoiled kitty named Tippy. In our spare time you will always find us boating and fishing. I also love to cook and bake.

Dental Assistant

I started my dental career in 1991 and have had the privilege to work with Dr. Schapley and our team since 2009.  My favorite part of working here is meeting all our patients and getting to know them. I also enjoy hands-on dentistry and seeing the results of exceptional dental care.

I am married with two children, Kelly and Steven. I enjoy fishing and spending time with family and friends. I am also an assistant religious class teacher in our community and enjoy working with the kids.

Registered Dental Hygienist

I have been a dental hygienist since 1983 and have worked with Dr. Schapley since 2005. I love working with patients and educating them to achieve and maintain a healthy mouth and smile. The philosophy that Dr. Schapley believes in is one I uphold also. By providing the best care and using the highest quality dental materials, our practice is able to meet and exceed our patients' expectations!

My husband and I were married in 1993. I have one daughter who is grown and lives in Michigan and two dachshunds, Max and Munch, who are spoiled rotten! I am a triathlete and I love to knit and quilt when I have the time.
